Marc Burckhardt’s art comes from an alternate reality where Russian icon painters beatify rock stars and mexcian wrestlers. Strange and arcane, Burckhardt is known for his work in Rolling Stone. What swoony teenage girl didn’t cut out his prayer card of “St.Cobain”? Werid and masterfully done, we approve.
