How does Molly Crabapple get those disturbing drawings done? Why not let her tell it
Working alone drives me crazy. Maybe it’s because doing a detailed style like mine is tedious, but I need distraction. Also, lots of sunlight. My favorite working enviroment is a cafe, with my papers spread across the table and a few artist friends at my side. We can joke and snipe, complain and critique, all while three double expressos buzz around in my brain and the ink lines fill up the paper. Now that’s illustratin’
