If an abstine-deranged aesthete had access to hard rock and jazz, he might have painted like Anthony Zito. Otherwordly, strange, and always different, Zito’s paintings seem to defy catagory. Asture portaits of stars and half-insane figure studies against watercolor….with demon clowns. Some are witty, some are beautiful, some are waking nightmares. We like it. We like it alot.
