We admit a bias toward comic artists, since it is one of the most time-consuming and badly paid feilds ofillustration. So it is with great pleasure we feature the Jigsaw Store and Gallery in NYC.

Small and scrapy, Jigsaw has the best collection of indie comics and graphic novels around. Bright and well-lit and comfty couches, Jigsaw is the kind of comic book store you could take your mother to. The gallery part sells cheap art and holds *excellent* art parties (booze, and lots of it.) We salute the owner Ben Jones for making comics respectable by forcing artists out of sweatpants and into three-peice suits.
